What to Expect
MZG Divorce & Family Mediations' Process
Divorce and Family Mediations, LLC recognizes how destructive the Court system can be on families during a divorce. That’s why we’ve designed a process that helps couples unwind their marriage while minimizing long-term damage.
Our method is non-adversarial. We use mediation to minimize conflict while helping you work together to craft the best solutions for your unique situation.
Setting Up Your Initial Session
If you think MZG Divorce and Family Mediations is the right choice for your family, you may contact us by phone or email to set up a consultation. Our mediator will speak to you on the initial call and share the Divorce and Family Mediations process. If you decide this divorce method is right for you, you will need to have your spouse contact us and they will receive the same information.
If both parties agree to use Divorce and Family Mediations, you will send an email to the mediator letting her know you and your spouse are in agreement and want to begin the process. Both parties will receive a Client Intake Form to fill out and give to the mediator at the Initial Session so she can get a better understanding of your situation.
Below is the general timeline of the Divorce and Family Mediations’ process. It usually takes around six months, but because of our flexible scheduling, you are ultimately in control of the length of the process.
